February 2006
Last month, the
newly-installed Session met for our Annual Session Retreat.
As always, it was an important and meaningful gathering, with wonderful
fellowship. We discussed many of the things that this congregation
will need to face in this transitional year ahead.
I want all of you
to know that there is a very deep sense of dedication, on the part
of each of the Elders and staff, to the future life and ministry of
this family of faith. They will especially need your help in the months
ahead as new realities are faced concerning the effective running of
this church.
This congregation
has dealt with numerous “new beginnings” throughout its
long history. Each time, a core group of individuals have risen to
the occasion and have shared their love and vitality in order to keep
this church alive and well. Know that I am dedicated, as well, to this
congregation’s physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being
in the time I have remaining as your pastor.
May
God richly bless all our ministry efforts, including the gifts of courage,
patience, endurance, and the ability to discern where God is guiding
us!
Blessings,
Todd
